Turkey continues contacts with Moscow and Kiev within the framework of mediation efforts to settle the conflict in Ukraine, and the possibilities of negotiations remain open, a Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.
"We continue contacts within the framework of our mediation role. The window of opportunity for negotiations remains," the source of the agency said.
At the moment, there are no prerequisites for the resumption of negotiations on the settlement of the Ukraine conflict in Turkey, but Ankara will look for them in contacts with the parties, a Turkish diplomatic source told "RIA Novosti" earlier.
Russia and Ukraine previously held three rounds of direct negotiations in Istanbul.
