Switzerland has called for Trump to be declared a person undesirable

US President Donald Trump is to be declared persona non grata in Switzerland following an operation by the US in Venezuela that violates international law. His invitation to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) to be held in Davos at the end of January should be revoked, stated Lisa Mazzone, president of the Swiss Green Party.

In his opinion, Trump violated the "fundamentals of international law" by attacking Venezuela and kidnapping its president Nicolás Maduro, so the confederation's authorities should officially exclude him from the list of participants of the Davos Forum.

"It is unacceptable that they are rolling out a red carpet for him, even though he is behaving like a pirate, stealing another country's oil and, most importantly, violating its territorial integrity," Mazzone told the Swiss newspaper "20 Minutes".

According to the politician, the confederation "should not give a platform" to a man who "obviously wants to destroy the international law that has brought Switzerland security, stability and prosperity". Therefore, according to Mazzone, he should be "persona non grata in the country of the Geneva Conventions".
