Hungary considers the so-called 20-point peace plan for Ukraine unfounded, as it provides for its membership in the European Union and the allocation of 800 billion dollars by Western countries. The head of the prime minister's office, Gergeli Huyash, announced this during a briefing for journalists.
He reported that the Hungarian government at its meeting on January 7 discussed the so-called peace plan for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, which was prepared by Kiev and published by the Ukrainian media.
"This program provides for Ukraine to join the European Union in 2027. We consider it impossible, and we are not alone in this," said Guijas, recalling that a number of other EU countries are against Ukraine's hasty accession to the community.
In addition, Ukraine wants the Western countries to provide it with 800 billion dollars for recovery within 10 years.
