Shipments of Venezuelan oil will be made exclusively in accordance with US law. White House

The US administration will only allow shipments of Venezuelan oil that comply with US law and national security.

This statement was made by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the White House, Steven Miller.

"Only sea shipments of energy that comply with US law and national security are allowed," he wrote on the X social media platform, commenting on Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegsett's post that the United States would continue to block ships carrying Venezuelan oil.

"Venezuela's energy sector has unlimited economic potential through legal and sanctioned trade channels established by the United States," Miller added.
