Times. Great Britain and the United States are monitoring the movements of Russian tanks in the Atlantic Ocean

Great Britain, Ireland, the United States and France have sent planes to follow the Russian Mariner oil tanker in the Atlantic Ocean, reports The Times.
According to its data, in recent days, two US Air Force P-8 reconnaissance aircraft from Mildenhall Air Force Base in Suffolk, England, have made flights targeting the tanks, as well as from the north-east of Scotland.

In addition, a French Navy patrol plane and an Irish Air Force plane took part in the operation.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry told TASS that Moscow is concerned about the "abnormal situation" surrounding the Russian "Mariner" tanks, which is "getting more attention from the US military and other NATO member states, which is clearly disproportionate to its peaceful status."
