Thirty-two Cubans died as a result of the US-led kidnapping of the legitimate president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canelli announced that two days of mourning have been declared on the island.
"It is with deep sorrow that our people learned that 32 Cubans were killed as a result of combat operations during the criminal attack carried out by the government of the United States of America against the sister-Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," said the presidential decree published by the Cubadebate portal.
