Cuba is ready to shed its own blood in defense of fraternal Venezuela. MFA

Cuba is ready to shed its own blood in defense of its fraternal Venezuela amid the United States' military actions against that country. This is stated in the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, TASS reports.

"For the sake of this brotherly country and its people, we are even ready to give our own blood, as for Cuba," the statement says.

In a statement, the Cuban authorities strongly condemned the US military aggression against Venezuela, calling it a criminal act that violates international law and the UN Charter.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry emphasized that US actions are aimed at scaring not only Venezuela, but also other Latin American and Caribbean countries, as well as restoring hegemonic ambitions in the region.
