French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he will go to London on Monday to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as the leaders of Great Britain and Germany, to discuss the situation in Ukraine and the ongoing negotiations with the mediation of the United States.
"Ukraine can expect our constant support. This is the whole meaning of the efforts we are making within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing," Macron said on the air of the X social network.
"We will continue these efforts together with the Americans in order to provide security guarantees to Ukraine, without which there can be no lasting peace. Because the issue of the security of Ukraine and Europe in general is at stake," he added. Macron also "in the most decisive manner" condemned last night's attacks on Ukraine, in particular on its energy and railway infrastructure. "Russia continues the warming line and does not seek peace... We must continue to put pressure on Russia to force it to conclude peace," he said.
