Denmark plans to almost halve military aid to Ukraine in 2026. This is reported by Danmarks Radio, citing the Danish Ministry of Defense.
Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen announced that Ukraine will receive 9.4 billion kroner next year. Last year, the aid amounted to 16.5 billion kroner, and the year before that, almost 19 billion kroner.
The newspaper also notes that, in general, there is a significant decrease in the volume of military aid provided to Ukraine. For example, in 2027, Copenhagen plans to send 7.1 billion crowns to Kiev, and in 2028, only one billion.
