Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fizo warned that the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine would be considered an illegal confiscation and would lead to serious retaliatory measures from Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.
"In our opinion, this is an illegal expropriation that will face huge challenges for arbitration and countermeasures from the Russian Federation," the politician said.
He emphasized that the priority should be the peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, not the financing of the continuation of military operations.
