The number of victims of floods and landslides in Indonesia has exceeded 440


As a result of floods and landslides in Indonesia, the number of victims has reached 441, 406 people are considered missing, according to the Indonesian authorities.

Floods and landslides occurred due to heavy rains in North Sumatra, Aceh and West Sumatra provinces of Indonesia. Authorities had previously reported 316 deaths as a result of the disaster.

"The number of victims has now reached 441," Abdul Mukhari, head of the Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, told reporters.
