As of now, there is no danger of military escalation. Edward Asryan

Head of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense Edward Asryan announced today in a conversation with the media in the National Assembly that he does not see a danger of military escalation with Azerbaijan at the moment.

"There are no dangers, no threats.

Currently, the situation at the borders is considered relatively stable," he said, emphasizing that there is no danger of military escalation at the moment.

Commenting on Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's statement that Azerbaijan may start military aggression after COP-29, he noted that the minister gave a military-political assessment, while he gave a military assessment.

"Currently, the General Staff does not consider such a situation as a war," Asryan added.
