Hamas has accused Israel of expanding its control zone in Gaza

The Palestinian Hamas movement has accused Israel of expanding its control over the Gaza Strip beyond the so-called Yellow Line, which is the demarcation line between Hamas and Israeli forces in the enclave, Sky News Arabia reported.

According to the radical movement, Israeli forces have "expanded their zone of control in the Al-Shujaya area", which is east of Gaza City, the administrative center of the Strip.

Hamas believes that the Israeli military pushed the yellow line forward by 300 meters and thus unilaterally established control over this area.

On October 9, Israel and Hamas, with the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, the US and Turkey, agreed to implement the first phase of the peace plan presented by US President Donald Trump.
