The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will soon host the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, BelTA reports.
"I thank you for accepting the invitation to visit the Republic of Belarus. I am looking forward to meeting you soon and I am sure that it will give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects serving the interests of both countries," said the head of Belarus, congratulating his Egyptian counterpart on his birthday.
Lukashenko noted the Egyptian president's personal contribution to strengthening regional stability and reaching diplomatic solutions to complex crises in the Middle East and Africa.
He also emphasized that Belarusian-Egyptian relations continue to develop on the basis of mutual trust and friendship.
