In Ukraine, they believe that the corruption scandal will not affect EU membership

The corruption scandal related to Volodymyr Zelensky's colleague Timur Mindych in Ukraine will not hinder the process of Kyiv's accession to the EU. Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka informed about this to Ukrinform news agency.

According to Kachka, Kiev received an objective assessment from the West regarding its "quick" and "unequivocal" response to corruption.

"This is exactly what was highlighted in the European Commission's enlargement report, previous working reports and documents, as well as the priorities of the negotiation process.

Therefore, this scandal will not affect the negotiation process," he emphasized.
