The Palestinian ambassador accused Israel of violating the ceasefire regime

Israeli troops are in more than 50% of the Gaza Strip, and humanitarian aid supplies to the enclave are only half of what was provided for in the cease-fire agreement, said Salah Abdel Shafi, the Palestinian ambassador to Austria and Permanent Observer to the United Nations in Vienna, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"Israeli troops are present in more than 50% of the Gaza Strip. In these areas, Israel systematically destroys buildings and entire neighborhoods. Second, the volume of humanitarian aid that, according to the agreement, should reach Gaza is 600 trucks per day. Actually, less than 300 trucks pass through there," the ambassador said.

He added that the lack of medicine, medical supplies and food continues. "We believe that Israel is not keeping the ceasefire agreement at all," concluded the source of the agency.

The cease-fire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip entered into force on October 10.
