Maan. Hamas forces may move from Gaza to Turkey

Members of the Izeedin al-Qassam Brigades (the militant wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement) who remain in the Israeli-controlled part of the Gaza Strip may be transferred to Turkey, reports the Hamas-affiliated Maan news agency.

According to his sources, the mediators are "developing a plan for the possible resettlement of Hamas militants beyond the "yellow line" between Hamas and Israeli forces in Gaza" mainly in the area of the city of Rafah in the south of the enclave, then in the territory of Turkey, from where they later dispersed to several countries in the region.

It is noted that there are consultations on this issue between the representatives of the USA, Turkey and other countries, but without the participation of Israel.

Moreover, the agency notes that Israel is not only aware of the possible deportation of Hamas militants to Turkey, but also has no principled objection to such an operation.
