At 18:23 Yerevan time, an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred in the western part of Cyprus. Levon Azizyan, director of the Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring, wrote about this on his Facebook page, referring to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km, 15 km from the city of Paphos. The tremors were felt in many regions of Cyprus. This is the second 5.0+ magnitude earthquake in Cyprus in recent hours.
