"Fact" daily writes:
"How can a nation be considered ancient if it was created recently?" There is nothing shameful about it. To be honest, I don't understand the desire to artificially show one's own ancient origin, if there is no such thing," says the leader of the "All-Armenian Front" movement, former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Major General Arshak Karapetyan, referring to the speech of the President of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, and in general, Azerbaijan's attempts to invent its own history and to falsify and appropriate the history of its neighbors.
According to Karapetyan, this can only be due to the fact that the president of Azerbaijan wants to conquer the territories of his neighbors and gradually expel them. "And Armenians and Georgians fall under that particular goal."
Karapetyan is sure that Aliyev does not want peace with the Armenians, he is trying to extend his rights to today's Armenian territories, including Lake Sevan. We remind you that Aliyev simultaneously talks about the false theses of the "return" of 300,350 thousand Azerbaijanis to Armenia, while the Armenian authorities not only do not hide, but even some of them try to justify Aliyev's aspirations.
"Let me say more, besides the fact that Nikol Pashinyan is ready to fulfill all the demands of Azerbaijan, it is also very beneficial for him to resettle Azerbaijanis in Armenia from the point of view of keeping his seat in Armenia, because those 350 thousand Azerbaijanis will happily vote for him," says Arshak Karapetyan and adds that we all must understand that Azerbaijan is planning a long-term project for further conquests. The former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia then addresses the people of Azerbaijan.
"I understand that you have nationalist intentions, I mean the leadership of Azerbaijan, which is trying to take advantage of the situation in Armenia in the sense that we have such people in power, as well as knowing that today's leader of Armenia will sign anything they want. But you yourself know that he has little left.
Most likely, within the next 8 months, all issues related to him will be resolved. Maximum: 8 months. And I think - sooner. And then, of course, there won't be those chances. I call on the Azerbaijani people not to obey such statements."
