Today, November 3, a tragic car accident took place in Kotayk region. Around 6:40 p.m., on the Yeghvard-Ashtarak H6 highway, 29-year-old Vrezh H., a resident of Gegharkunik marz, left the traffic lane of the road with his "Volkswagen" car and ended up in a ravine, as a result of which the car's gas cylinder ruptured.

The Yeghvard fire-rescue squad of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA arrived at the scene promptly, 1 combat unit.
The fire-rescuers cut off the power to the car, closed the valve of the gas cylinder and performed duty on the spot.
Artur Arakelyan and Tigran Khechumyan, patrolmen of the same company, demarcated the area.
Surik Janikyan, head of the Nairi Department of the Community Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrived at the scene of the incident.
The information about the accident was transferred from the Nairi department of the RA Investigative Committee to the Nairi investigative department of the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived, headed by department head Hovhannes Chalabyan, deputy head of department Ashot Melkumyan, interim head of department Yura Papyan, deputy head of department Tigran Baghyan and the investigator on duty for the day.
As a result of the accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated at the investigative department of Nairi.
