"It seemed that the odyssey of the report of the investigation commission of the 44-day war was over. The NA President sent the report to the secret department of the National Assembly on the grounds that it was "outdated", instead of discussing it in the plenary session, but behind the scenes of the government, the issue is not considered closed. Most of the committee members and the lawyers who worked on the report continue to fight and prove that the President of the National Assembly, Vladimir Vardanyan, was misled by his wrong conclusion.
They bring the precedent of the report of the four-day war, which was put up for discussion about a year after the activity of the commission, by the decision of the then NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, because the purpose of both the NA Rules of Procedure and the interpretation of the Constitution is the report, and these commissions differ from ordinary investigative commissions in their characteristics. the report also remains legitimate, which Vardanyan did not take into account. In addition, the fate of the report should be decided at the plenary session of the National Assembly, but a session is not called, which means that the situation can be turned around.
After the uproar, the Speaker of the National Assembly also sent Vardanyan's conclusion to Nikol Pashinyan. He also demanded clarifications from the committee and received the above-mentioned arguments. The committee is waiting for Pashinyan's response, hoping that, in the end, their arguments will be taken into account, and the much-discussed report will be put up for discussion, also denying the suspicions that a political decision was made not to put it up for wide discussion.
