The uncertain end of the NASA's "Juno" mission

The NASA's Juno spacecraft, who spreads about ten years around Jupiter and transferring historical data about the giant planet, has already stopped working. However, there is definitely no information about this.

"Juno" was released in 2011 and entered Jupiter in 2016, being intended for only 20 months to work. However, it continued to operate for almost ten years, passing scientists to exceptional data on Jupiter's atmosphere, magnetic field, rings, and its large satellites, Ghanomedi, Europe and Io.

NASA has extended the mission several times. The term has already passed that period, but due to the termination of the US government, the agency cannot declare the current status of the mission.

If the mission is really over, it will miss a few years in scientific studies until the next major mission, the arrival of Europa Clipper. "Europe Klippers" started in October 2024 and will reach Jupiter in 2030 to study Europe satellite in detail.
