The Armenian national teams started with a victory at the 2025 European Team Chess Championship. This was reported by the Chess Federation.

The men's team gained an advantage over the Lithuanian team 2.5: 1.5.

Shant Sargsyan (1st board) and Aram Hakobyan (4th board) won.

The women's team also gained a 2.5: 1.5 advantage over the Estonian team.
