During the "Horizon Vahan" operation, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have established control over the 42-boat "Sumud" fleet (Arabic, "resistance").
According to IDF, the operation lasted 12 hours and aimed to prevent the bailing of the marine blockade of the Gaza Strip, according to TASS.
"The staff of the Israeli Navy has prevented the experience of hundreds of people on 42 ships, which intended to violate the legal sea blockade of the Gaza Strip," the department added.
After the arrest, all the participants of the protest were taken to the port of Ashdod and handed over to the police.
