Turkish and US Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Donald Trump had a telephone conversation to discuss the situation around Gaza, the Turkish leader's office reported.
"Turkish President Erdogan had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump at his request. During the conversation, bilateral relations between Turkey and the United States, as well as the situation around Gaza, were discussed, "the office said.
Erdogan noted that his visit to Washington on September 25 has strengthened Turkey's relations between Turkey, and it is important to take steps between the two countries, in particular to strengthen cooperation in the field of defense industry.
