Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Leadership Abbas Salehi assured that the republic has never striving to use nuclear energy for non-peaceful purposes.
According to the head of the department, "Iran was the target of monitoring missions of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) much more than any other country in the world." As the minister clarified in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País, the republic has never tried to "exploit the nuclear problem for non-peaceful purposes."
"If Iran wanted this, it would have already existed it," Salehi added.
"Moving to create for us is a complete barrier from an ethical, religious and legal point of view," he said.
