The Estonian Foreign Ministry has called on the residents of the Baltic Republic to avoid leaving for Belarus, due to the difficulties of receiving consular assistance, the Delfi portal reports, citing the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We do not have a consul in Belarus. When we leave for Belarus, please keep in mind that consular assistance may take a long time than usual, or it is impossible at all, "said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry also notes that these proposals are given in response to the arrests of citizens of Estonia and other EU countries in Belarus.
Earlier, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised its citizens to leave Belarus immediately and refrain from traveling to that country.
