In April, Auchan officially notified the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade that it intended to continue its work in Russia. Earlier, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov stated that the minimum discount for transactions for the sale of assets by foreigners in the country increased from 50% to 60%.
