The ARF Dashnaktsutyun's Supreme Body has issued a statement that we present below.
"We strongly condemn the armed attack in the nearby settlement, which killed Parakar community head Valodia Grigoryan and a criminal police officer Karen Abrahamyan, and one citizen was wounded.
We express our deepest condolences to the families, relatives, the residents of the community and all those who share this great grief.
We wish the citizen who received an insult to a speedy recovery.
What happened once again proves that the state institutions have been eased in the Republic of Armenia, the impunity is deepening, and the law enforcement system carries out elected justice, and the existing potential is used for political persecution.
The consequences are not delayed, public security is under a serious threat. This crime is a blow not only to individual citizens, but also the foundations of our state and statehood.
The government declared the "real Armenia" has been busy "preventing" the criminal environment in the country for years. Moreover, by calling regular violence and retaliation, the public has created fertile ground for such crimes, which is growing.
The government criminalizes dissent, persecution clergy and opponents, at the same time leaving the citizens against defenseless armed criminals.
This is no longer an inactivity, but a direct crime.
We demand that the law enforcement agencies, immediately and complete the incident, as well as the allegations of the law to be prosecuted. "
