The Minister of Education and the Minister of Education was followed by the construction of the Juventus Football Academy in Armenia


RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and President of the Football Federation of Armenia Armen Melikbekyan visited the Juventus Football Academy under construction in Yerevan's Avan administrative district to get acquainted with the construction works.

The Minister and the FFA President was introduced to the Minister and the FFA President on the construction site, the construction process and the details of the work carried out. Alfred Sadoyan, the founder of the Juventus Academy in Armenia, noted that the construction is being held at a faster pace and even ahead of the schedule. According to him, the academy that meets the highest international standards will open its doors to the students in the summer of 2026.

GMS minister Zhanna Andreasyan welcomed the advanced pace of construction work, while highlighting high quality assurance. The Minister noted that the establishment of the Academy will be key to the development of Armenian football development, strengthening of young students' sports education and international cooperation.

The academy being built in Avan administrative district is expected to have different sizes, and for 5-7 year old children will also be built on an artificial grass. The sports base will also operate a hotel-shelter for children living in European coaches and children in different regions of Armenia, which will be elected by the Italian Technical Director and will live there free on a free basis. The academy will operate on both paid and free basis, depending on the progress of children and the results.

The Juventus Academy in Armenia will consist of 3 sports base for 2000 students, two of which will be located in the Avan administrative district of Yerevan and the third in the Nor Hachn community of Kotayk region. Each year, the best students of the academy will head to Turin, the Juventus General Academy, where they will take part in training and friendly games.

The construction of the sports basement of the second category of UEFA, as well as the second category of UEFA, is expected to be completed next year.
