Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili believes that members of the opposition and their supporters, who are gathering in small groups in Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi every night, are internal terrorists.
For example, the head of the Georgian legislative body cited the situation in the United States after the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk. The White House and US President Donald Trump have repeatedly described the incident and the support of Kirk's murder as internal terrorism.
"What President Trump calls internal terrorism is happening here. There is a similar terrorist group that is emotionally troubled at night, and we see how they move through the streets.
"In the morning, as we notice, with God's help, they are calm, and the city can live peacefully, but at night we must be careful of them because they have attacks. This is a terrorist group that the goal is to change the government with violent means, "Papuashvili told reporters.
