Spain can make a decision on September 23 about the ban on the supply of weapons to Israel

Spain Minister of Culture Ernest Urtas has promised that the decree on the embargo on Israel will be approved at the sitting of the Council of Ministers on September 23.

"This will be confirmed on Tuesday," El Mundo newspaper quoted the department as saying.

Earlier, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez promised that the authorities would adopt an embargo on Israel.

Madrid has taken a rather tough stance on the Jewish state on the situation in the Gaza Strip. On September 8, Sanchez announced a number of measures aimed at "stopping the genocide in Gaza."

Among other things, the Prime Minister stated that "the ban on entering Spain's territory for those who are directly involved in the Gaza Strip, human rights violations and military crimes."
