Protests have started in London ahead of Trump's visit

A few hours before US President Donald Trump arrived in the UK, the protesters gathered near the residence of the British monarchs in Winds, west of London, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

The demonstrators started gathered at 5:30 local time (from Moscow time at around 19:30).

Dozens of people gathered in front of St. John Mkrtich Church in Armenian Street, then walked to the top of the Pikod Street in front of Windsor Castle.

King Charles III of the United King Charles III will host Trump in Windsor's castle on September 17 and 18, and a state dinner is scheduled for Wednesday.

According to the Washington Post, the route of Trump's UK visit was designed to avoid protests. The newspaper reminds that during the visit Trump will not perform in the parliament to avoid tension. It is noted that the established schedule also allows the security of the politician.
