The Eurasian Economic Union (EAAU) and Indian representatives will start practical work on a free trade agreement in the coming days, said Andrey Slepnev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Slepnev has arrived in India a day ago and has already held talks with Indian Minister of Trade and Industry Pyushy.
"As for the practical content of our work, we exchanged from the future agreement with certain expectations, and the main agreement is that our negotiation teams will start literally next week," Slepnev told reporters after the meeting.
