The EU threatens Israel with serious consequences

The official representative of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Enlargement Kaya Callas said that Brussels demands that Israel stopped the military operation in Ghaza. Interfax quotes Al-nite as saying.

"The European Union continues to demand that Israel not expand its action. "The military operation will deepen the catastrophic humanitarian situation and will endanger the life of the hostages," he said.

Answering the question of the journalists whether the European Commission considers Israel's actions genocide in the Gaza Strip, he said that the EU's position on this issue has decided whether an international crime, including genocide, has been committed.

"Qualification of the Genocide should be based on the establishment of facts, in accordance with the necessary rules and the law," he said.
