"The process of three and a half years in the National Assembly, which was called to study the circumstances of the 44-day war, is in the actual deadlock today. The investigative committee led by Andranik Kocharyan was established in February 2022, with a clear period, at first 6 months, and then another 6 months old.
According to Article 16 of the NA Rules of Procedure-Law, Andranik Kocharyan had to complete his work and present the final report. However, Kocharyan ignored the deadlines set by the law. In fact, since 2023, the Commission does not exist on legal grounds, but Kocharyan continues to act as a leader and even put pressure on the staff of the National Assembly.
According to Zhoghovurd daily, he clashed with NA Speaker Aleen Simonyan, demanding the final report of the commission as soon as possible. However, the NA President stated that he cannot bypass the law of the rules and circulate two years late document.
Despite this, Andranik Kocharyan continues to be discussed that his 210-page report should be discussed. He even assures that arrests are expected after the publication.
