US President Donald Trump believes that the sanctions imposed by Europe against Russia are not strict enough. He stated this at a conversation with journalists at a press conference of the White House in Bedminster, New Jersey.
"And the sanctions imposed by the Europeans are not strict enough. I am ready to impose sanctions, but they must tighten their sanctions to meet them in my actions. We should not expect the United States to operate full-fledged anti-Russian restrictions, and Europe will buy oil from Russia, "said the American leader.
Earlier, Trump said he was ready to impose tough sanctions on Russia if all NATO members act together and stop buying oil.
