At least 15 people have been killed in the collapse of a four-storey temporary building in India, the PTI news agency reported.
"On Wednesday, at 00::55, a four-storey four-story building collapsed on an empty housing building near Virar, Virar, Georgia, which included about 50 apartments," police told the agency.
According to eyewitnesses, almost all the victims are participants of the birthday party of a year old.
The head of the Palangar Territorial Electoral Commission, Dr. Indo Rani Jakhhak confirmed Thursday that the death toll from the incident reached 15.
"National Disaster Response Forces and other rescue groups will continue to clear the ruins to make sure that no one is blocked," he told PTI.
