Pakistan has evacuated 150,000 people from the flood zone after the message about India

Pakistani authorities have evacuated from the possible flood zone of at least 150,000 residents, after India declared a warning about the disaster, Reuters reports.

The evacuation of the population took place in the most populous populated state of Panjab, the level of Ravi, Sutlej and Chab Rivers flowing in India and Pakistan.

The warning of New Delhi flood has been criticized by the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"India has published a warning of floods through diplomatic channels, not through the Indian Water Commission, as required by the Indian Water Treaty," said Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"We continue to insist that India must fully maintain all the provisions of the agreement." The one-sided statement of India suspending the agreement "is a serious violation of international law and can have serious negative consequences for peace and stability in South Asia," he said.
