German Deputy Children and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeyl arrived in Ki on an unannounced visit, DPA reports.
"In close cooperation with the German Chancellor, I intend to discuss how Germany can best support Ukraine in the possible peace process," Klingbeyl said.
Deputy Safers' guarantees noted that Germany closely coordinates its actions at the international level.
"Germany will fulfill its obligations," said Deputy.
According to the agency, Klingbeyl will meet with high-ranking Ukrainian officials, Vladimir Zelensky and Civil Society.
