Syrian Foreign Minister Asaade Al-Shebyani held talks with the Israeli delegation in Paris on August 19, which was dedicated to the discharge of the situation in South Southern, citing diplomatic sources. According to them, the meeting took place as a result of US mediation efforts.
"The parties discussed the agreements aimed at strengthening security and stability in the south of Syria, as well as the terms of restoration of the 1974 agreement on the withdrawal of Israeli and Syrian forces in Golan highs," agency reported.
On August 12, the head of the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Al-Safadi and US Special Representative Thomas Barack. Negotiations were dedicated to coordination between three parties "in the interests of stability, sovereignty and regional security in Syria."
