Levon Julfalakyan will be included in the system of the Russian Wrestling Federation

Levon Julfalakyan, the Olympic champion of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, who played in the USSR national team, will join the structure of the Russian Wrestling Federation. The president of the organization, Mikhail Mamiashvili, informed TASS about this.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree granting Russian citizenship to Levon Julfalakyan on October 21.

According to him, Levon Julfalakyan is a bright representative of Greco-Roman style wrestling, whose tremendous experience allowed him to achieve success with the Armenian national team in very difficult conditions.

"He is one of those who won the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 together with your humble servant Alexander Karelin and Kamandar Magidov. He will be part of the Russian Wrestling Federation, that is clear, both as an advisor and as our friend and friend," Mamiashvili said.
