In December 2022, during an argument over domestic issues in one of the settlements of Talin community of Aragatsotn marz, K.M. deliberately hit her husband, R.M.'s chest with a stick, causing moderate damage to the latter's health in the form of rib fractures.

On May 15, 2023, the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against K.M. under Article 167, Part 2, Clause 9 of the Criminal Code (causing moderate damage to health).

On October 17, 2024, the prosecutor approved the indictment and submitted the proceedings to the Court of First Instance of Aragatsotn Region.

Notice: the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the Code of Criminal Procedure by a legally binding court verdict.
