The Russian authorities have instructed to take additional measures to ensure the transfer of grain cargo to Armenia under the Upper Lars checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated his instruction.
"At the request of Armenia, the competent authorities of the Russian Federation have been instructed to take additional measures to organize the transition from Russia to the Republic of Armenia by Upper Lars, which was limited due to bad weather and flooding.
We try to minimize the delays of the necessary grain supplies to Armenia, "Overchuk told reporters.
