The US Senate has suspended the promotion of a bill to set 500% of customs duties on Russia and its trade partners. As reported by Armenpress, this was reported by Politico, citing the statement of the Primate of the Republican Majority in the Senate.
This decision was made against US President Donald Trump against the background of the Russian war against Ukraine.
"It seems that at the moment the president intends to try to do some things on his own. If at any time, he decides that the progress of this bill makes sense and will strengthen its negotiation positions, then we will join it. We will be ready, "he said.
