The armed conflict between Iran and Israel has led to a partial business activity of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bloomberg reports, citing expert assessments.
"The non-oil economy of the UAE slowly slowed down due to the conflict between Iran and Israel," the agency quoted the words of S & P Global's chief economist David Owen. He added that the escalation of tensions in the region has also led to the decline in consumer demand in the UAE.
Israel struck Iran every day on June 13-24. The announced goal was to destroy the missile and nuclear programs of the Islamic Republic.
