According to a survey conducted by SbermanKeting and Bi.Zone, 24% users use the same password in all their services, although 79% realize its risks. At the same time, 60% of respondents use different passwords, and 16% found it difficult to answer, Gazeta.ru reports.
Cybercrime remains a serious problem, according to the survey, 97% Russians have faced this phenomenon over the past year. According to the Central Bank of Russia, in 2024, more than 27 billion rubles were stolen by cybercropers. The most common method is telephone cheat, 79% calls, and 62% or their own experience have been collapsed or aware of such cases.
Frequent other methods are made by messengers and email deception (42% and 35% respectively) and phishing sites, 21%. The dips also find themselves spreading, they got acquainted with 81% surveyed. Experts advise to use multi-member identification and increase digital literacy to reduce risks.
