In four old age groups, Armenian athletes, 3 gold, 5 silver and 13 bronze, won 21 medals at the European Sambo Championship, in Limassol, Cyprus.
Arman Avanesyan (fighting sambo, 98 kg) won his second gold medal in the adult struggle. Another 5 athletes had become a bronze medalist.
Mher Ohanyan (71 kg) became the champion in the youth tournament. His five teammates had won a silver medal.
Armenia also had one winner in the teenagers, Gor Shatveryyan (71 kg) (Gor (71 kg). Our team had a binary silver and bronze medal in that age group.
One second and three third prizes were registered at the expenses of our team.
