Liana Gyurjyan is a silver medal at the European Weightlifting Championships

Liana Gyurjyan won a silver medal at the European Weightlifting Championships in the 87 kg weight category. He was declared the vice-champion of Europe with a result of 246 kilograms.

22-year-old Gyurjyan made three approaches in the snatch and took the 4th place with the result of 106 kg. In the push exercise, with 3 successful approaches, the weightlifter weighing 140 kg and won a small silver medal.

In this weight category, the other representative of Armenia, the vice-champion of Europe, the Bronze medalist of the World Cup, has won a small silver medal in the snatch exercise.
