Days of Armenian culture will be held in Kazakhstan


RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan left for Astana as part of the delegation of RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan's official visit to Kazakhstan on October 14-16 to participate in the events of the Days of Armenian Culture in Kazakhstan.

The Ministry of Education and Culture informs that the program of the days of culture includes a series of events: a ceremonial concert with the participation of the Armenian Jazz Orchestra (artistic director: Davit Melkonyan), a photo exhibition dedicated to Sergey Parajanov, days of Armenian cinema and the "Hamazkayin" theater named after Sos Sargsyan (artistic director). Narine Grigoryan) tour.

The main events of the Culture Days of Armenia will be held at the Kalibek Kuanishbaev National Music and Drama Theater of Kazakhstan, where on October 15 the ceremonial opening concert of the Days of Culture dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour will be held. The concert program mainly includes chansonnier songs, but the works of Komitas and Arno Babajanyan will also be performed. Honored artist of Armenia Inga Arshakyan and laureate of international competitions Gor Sujyan will perform together with the Armenian Jazz Orchestra.

On the same day, the photo exhibition dedicated to the life and activities of Sergey Parajanov, prepared by S. by the Parajanov Museum.

The next day, on October 16, the "Hamazkayin" theater named after Sos Sargsyan will perform at the national musical-dramatic theater named after Kalibek Kuanishbaev of Kazakhstan, with the performance "Leu Beauf".

As part of the Days of Armenian Culture in Kazakhstan, 7 IMAX KERUEN cinemas will screen Armenian feature and animated films.
